Cleveland Hopkins International Airport gets bond rating boost, could save millions in borrowing costs

Fitch Ratings, one of the three major bond rating services, this week raised its grade for Cleveland Hopkins International Airport from BBB+ to A-, a move that could help save the airport millions in coming years. Fitch’s action follows similar moves by Moody’s Investor Service and Standard & Poors Global Ratings, each of which raised the city-owned airport’s bond ratings a year ago.
