Puerto Rican Parade & Festival

City officials and residents from across Cleveland gathered in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood to learn about and celebrate Puerto Rican culture at the 51st Annual Puerto Rican Parade & Festival on Aug 4th.  The celebration, which has been observed since the late 1960s, kicked off at the intersection of Fulton Road and Trowbridge Avenue and continued at Roberto Clemente Park. Vendors selling food, merchandise and more could be found at the festival, along with music from a live DJ and a short program of speakers.

Mayor Frank G. Jackson welcomed residents to the celebration and recognized this year’s esteemed honorees.  This marked the first year that the Puerto Rican Parade & Festival was operated by the Hispanic Police Officers’ Association.
