Office of Government Affairs

Government Affairs is the primary contact agency on state and national issues and has the responsibility of establishing, maintaining, and coordinating activities with international dignitaries, delegations, or visitors.

Government Affairs promotes develops, and maintains regional cooperation in Northeast Ohio and oversees all interaction and coordination with Cleveland City Council.

This office establishes policy by introducing, working, and passing legislation through Cleveland City Council.

Additionally, Government Affairs is the primary liaison between the Administration and Cleveland City Council and oversees all Mayoral appointments to internal and external boards and commissions.
