Recycling in Cleveland Video


Automated Collection, Curbside Recycling Expanding

Beginning in April 2011, these programs will include an additional 25,000 households throughout the city who will receive two sturdy, wheeled city-issued carts to be use for curbside recycling and waste collection -more


Free Shredding Event a Success!

The Division of Waste Collection and All Ohio Secure Shred are pleased to report that Clevelanders brought over 18,000 pounds of paper during the August, 2010 shredding event, helping to KEEP CLEVELAND CLEAN AND GREEN!


 

Computer Round-up Time! 


From Monday August 2nd through Friday September 3rd, the City of Cleveland and the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District have teamed up to recycle unwanted computer equipment  from Cleveland residents. 
 
All collected computer equipment will either be upgraded and distributed to schools or recycled.
 
Cell phones will also be accepted, however TV's or other electronics will not.  -details
