New Ohio Pet License Plates Now Available These plates raise funds for education, pet spaying and neutering (for low-income families), and for dogs and cats adopted from qualifying agencies. Even residents who have just renewed their plates can get them at any location that issues license plates, or by calling 1.800.589.TAGS. ASPCA Generous to Cleveland Pets and Owners The City of Cleveland is proud to acknowledge and thank the ASPCA for their generosity in awarding $36,100 in various grants in years 2010 and 2011 to the Division of Animal Control. The grants are a result of a dedicated partnership with the ASPCA and the Cleveland Animal Protective League. The various grants are being used to decrease the number of animals euthanized at the shelter.
Stray Cat Sterilization Available Help is available for Cleveland residents concerned about the stray cat population. The City recently granted $10,000 to the Animal Protective League to help defray the cost of sterilization for feral cats. more
