UPDATE: Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Security Incident

The incident is being investigated involving two city officials

CLEVELAND – On Thursday, October 25, 2018 a security incident occurred at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport involving two city officials.

Both officials, Assistant Director of Port Control Fred Szabo and Chief of Operations for the City of Cleveland Darnell Brown, were suspended with pay pending the outcome of the investigation. 

This incident is still under investigation. Further information, when available, will be released through the Cleveland Public Records portal.
