City of Cleveland Helps Bring Army Precision Parachute Demonstration Team to Luke Easter Park Sept. 20

CLEVELAND – The City of Cleveland’s Luke Easter Park will serve as a host site for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command Parachute Team’s tandem parachute jump demonstrations. The event is Friday, Sept. 20, 2019 at 11 a.m.

In coordination with the John Carroll University Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), the parachute team will perform nine tandem demonstration jumps out of an aircraft. The specially designed plane is used to conduct military skydives and helps jumpers know when to exit and how to find precise landing locations.
