The City of Cleveland WILL NOT Collect Trash on Memorial Day

Willard Garage and City Offices Will Also Be Closed

CLEVELAND – The City of Cleveland Department of Public Works WILL NOT collect trash on Monday, May 27, 2019 in observance of Memorial Day. The City of Cleveland offices and Willard Garage will be closed as well. City offices and Willard Garage will reopen on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

Waste collection for the remainder of that week will be delayed by one day. Waste collection will be back to its regular schedule on Monday, June 3, 2019.

The waste collection schedule for the week of May 27 will be:

    • Monday – Waste collection delayed until Tuesday
    • Tuesday – Waste collection delayed until Wednesday
    • Wednesday - Waste collection delayed until Thursday
    • Thursday - Waste collection delayed until Friday
    • Friday - Waste collection delayed until Saturday
